Phillip Daniels‘ stint as an Eagles coach has come to an end. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the organization has fired the defensive line coach. “Thank you to the Eagles organization for 4 great years,” Daniels said on Twitter. “I’m proud of what we accomplished as a DL and even prouder of what we accomplished this season against all odds. That doesn’t mean Henry won’t matter, he will, but the Titans need Tannehill to make plays for them through the air, especially if Kansas City crowds the line of scrimmage with more defenders to account for Henry. Believe it or not, Tannehill was actually PFF’s highest-graded quarterback during the regular season, but will he be able to keep pace with Patrick Mahomes? We’ll find out soon enough. Titans
