Despite being limited in practice this week by a quad injury, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will play on "Thursday Night Football" against the New York Jets, according to a report. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that while Jackson is listed questionable, he is cleared to start against New York. It’s great news for the heavy favorite to win the MVP award this year. Jackson, who makes a habit of embarrassing defenders with ankle-breaking runs, is just 23 yards shy of breaking Michael Vick’s single-season rushing record (1,039) for quarterbacks. A national audience will almost certainly get to see the historic moment happen on Thursday night.
