Der Brite erzielte in der Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters 2018 mit dem Rennwagen den Gesamtsieg und beendete damit eine 30-jährige Erfolgsgeschichte der Marke. Mit insgesamt 32 Fahrzeugen macht das Mercedes-Benz Museum in einer Rennkurve die Geschichte von 125 Jahren Mercedes-Benz Motorsport erlebbar.

Der Weltmeister-Rennstall würdigt seinen langjährigen Team-Aufsichtsratschef beim Großen Preis von Monaco (Sonntag, 15.10 Uhr/RTL und Sky) mit einem komplett in Rot getauchten Halo auf beiden Rennwagen - in Anlehnung an Laudas Markenzeichen, die rote Kappe.
